Numerology Basics
What is a Life Path number?
Your Life Path number is a single digit (1β9) calculated from your birth date. It's the most significant number in numerology β it reveals your core personality, natural strengths, and the themes that run through your life. To calculate it, we sum your birth month, day, and year together and reduce the result to a single digit.
How is my Life Path number calculated?
We add your birth month + birth day + full birth year, then reduce that sum by repeatedly adding its digits until we reach a single digit. For example, a birthday of March 14, 1990 gives us 3 + 14 + 1990 = 2007 β 2+0+0+7 = 9. Your Life Path would be 9.
What do the 9 Life Path numbers mean?
Each number 1β9 represents an archetype: 1 is The Leader, 2 is The Mediator, 3 is The Creator, 4 is The Builder, 5 is The Adventurer, 6 is The Nurturer, 7 is The Seeker, 8 is The Achiever, and 9 is The Humanitarian. Your full reading on the home screen describes your specific traits.
Compatibility & Paths
What does "compatibility" mean in ePaths?
ePaths compares two Life Path numbers and returns one of three compatibility categories: True Match (naturally aligned), Balanced Match (complementary with some effort), or Growth Match (challenging but transformative). Every pairing also comes with a detailed written breakdown specific to those two numbers.
How do I add someone to my paths?
Go to Add a Path (the + icon in the nav). Enter their name, birth date, your relationship type, and optionally their photo. ePaths calculates their Life Path and generates your full compatibility reading. Your first 3 paths are free; additional paths cost 3 credits each.
Can I add a photo to a path after I create it?
Yes. Open the path from My Paths, and on the compatibility page you'll see their circle with an "Add photo" overlay. Tap or click it to upload an image (JPG, PNG, or WEBP, max 2 MB). The photo is resized automatically to a square.
Can I delete a path?
Yes. In My Paths, each card has a Γ button. Tapping it will ask you to confirm before permanently removing that path. Credits used for that path are not refunded.
Credits & Billing
What are credits?
Credits are the in-app currency used to unlock new paths beyond your first three free ones. Each new path costs 3 credits. Credits never expire and stay in your account until used.
How do I get more credits?
Visit the Buy Credits page (linked in the header pill or from the account page). We offer one-time credit packs and monthly subscription plans via Stripe. All payments are secured by Stripe β we never store your card details.
Can I get a refund?
If you've purchased credits and haven't used them, contact us within 14 days of purchase using the Contact page (select "Refund Request"). We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Account β Subscription and click "Cancel Monthly Subscription." Your credits won't be removed and no further charges will be made after the current billing period ends.
Relationship Coach
What is the Paths Relationship Coach?
The Relationship Coach is an AI powered by Anthropic's Claude model. It's available on every compatibility reading page and can answer questions about your specific pairing β communication tips, what to watch out for, how your numbers interact, and more. It uses your numerology context to give grounded, personalised answers.
Does the Relationship Coach store my conversations?
No. Conversations with the Relationship Coach are not saved to your account. Each time you open a compatibility reading, the chat starts fresh.
Account & Privacy
How do I reset my password?
On the Log in page, click "Forgot your password?" and enter your email address. If an account with that email exists, we'll send you a reset link that is valid for one hour.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account β Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, all saved paths, and any remaining credits. Active subscriptions are cancelled. This action cannot be undone.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All form submissions are protected with CSRF tokens. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe β we never see your card details. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What personal data does ePaths store?
We store your name, email address, date of birth, profile photo (if uploaded), and the names and birth dates of the people you add to your paths. We use this data only to provide the ePaths service. We don't sell or share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
